Finn Harps looking to take their academy to the next level

Finn Harps are on the lookout for volunteers for their Academic as they look to take huge strides in the development of players, and coaches in the region.

The clubs goalscoring legend Kevin McHugh, recently appointed as head of their Academy, is on the lookout for volunteers to come aboard and help build on the huge progress already being made there. He said, “We are aiming to take the Finn Harps Academy to the next level and could do with a few more people getting involved. I am looking for fans of the club and people who are genuinely care about the welfare of the club.”

“There are loads of great coaches involved with schoolboys clubs out there, and we would love them to also get involved with our Academy to help us and their own development as a coach. We (Finn Harps Academy) have recently moved into Base Centre, Stranorlar to help form a better working relationship with Finn Harps Schools programme and to push things forward.”

“There is loads of great work going on currently and it would be great to get a few more people involved, if you think this is something that may be of interest to you, see below. This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting time in the club's history”

We are looking for:

- Male and Female coaches to help our head coaches – Academy and National League level (Qualifications are an advantage, but not necessary – Training will be provided)

- People to get involved at a committee level (new Academy committee formed very recently) Meetings once every 2 weeks

If you fancy getting involved, email your Name and Contact details to: AcademyFinnHarps@gmail.com with a brief description of your experience to date and on what level you would be interested in getting involved.
